Green Mountains Solid Waste Services involve the packaging, collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of solid wastes such as Paper, Cardboard, Plastics, Wood, Glass and Plasterboard.
Collection
Solid Waste Services typically
originate with waste
collection, whether at a single
or multi-family residence, a
commercial customer, an
industrial location, a
construction location or a
special event.
Our specialist bins and
containers can satisfy various
requirements, from a small
skip outside the home to a
roll-off bin for industrial use.
Our containers range from
120L to 20 m3, as well as
enclosed or open skips, with
ease of transport. Residential
Services also include 1 m3
portable bins and 240L roll
bins. Waste segregation can
take place on or off site.
Compacting
We offer rental facilities at
competitive rates on a full
range of easy-to-use
compactors.
Compacting can reduce
disposal costs by 50% and
decreases waste
transportation costs by up 10
times. Ground compactors
are a clean and economical
solution preferred by retail,
food manufacture, and
accommodation camps due
to the many health benefits.
Ground compactors can offer
protection from smelly odors
and the spreading of disease,
contamination of water
sources, and the spreading of
waste by wind or people.

Transport
We operate a fleet of
approximately 135 retrofit
vehicles with GPS navigation
tracking to deploy route
optimization software.
This allows us to reduce fuel
consumption and emissions,
lowering our overall carbon
footprint. We can schedule
collections on a daily, weekly
or one-time basis.
Our specialized fleet includes
Skip Loaders, Refuse
Compactors, Hook Lift
Trucks, Flat Bed Trailers,
Dumper Trucks, Vacuum
Tankers, and Pick-up Trucks.

We have operated the largest
commercial and industrial
